BILINGUAL KOREAN PROJECT COORDINATOR - FULL TIME
KAFLA is seeking a motivated individual with a passion for community service. We are looking for a responsible Project Coordinator to assist community members to access services and government benefits such as unemployment insurance, small business loans, and grants, and to support various community enhancement programs as community issues/projects arise.
Under the supervision of our Program Director and in collaboration with fellow staff, the individual will carry out day-to-day program activities for meeting and exceeding all performance outcomes and deliverables. When directed, s/he will also act as the representative in cultivating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all partners, key stakeholders, and other community partners.
Responsibilities
Engage in community outreach
Conduct intake and assessment of clients
Provide one-on-one assistance to help access services and enroll in public benefits
Collect all necessary clients’ facts and documents to complete enrollment, loan application, etc.
Keep informed of and obtain ongoing training on various public benefits such as small business loans, unemployment assistance, rent relief, etc.
Qualifications
Fluency in Korean, English and/or Spanish
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Proven experience as a project coordinator, case manager, or other relevant work
Skills
Working knowledge of the use and operation of personal computers, printers, copiers, and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word
Experience in the development and use of database application
Ability to organize and prepare documentation in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: Starting at $25.00 hourly DOE
